Tuesday (9/22) -- Making a roux: sauces & gravies Wednesday (9/23) -- Office hours: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm (link is in Schoology) * Google Form assessment due by 2:45 pm = attendance + final assessment Thursday (9/24) and Friday (9/25) -- No School There are hundreds of recipe variations for these, but dredging the chicken is generally required. If you don't want the bread crumbs, ground almonds can be used.
Or, just season and bake the chicken for a delicious meal. Preparing Protein Foods Eating a variety of proteins is recommended for our nutritional health. This week, our Home Food Lab will focus on preparing foods from the protein group. Proteins are potentially hazardous foods, foods which have a high potential for rapid bacterial growth.
