Meal Planning & Preparation
The goal for 8th grade FCS students is to be able to plan, prepare, and cost a complete meal by the end of the term. Here are the topics for this week: Monday (8/31) -- Menu considerations and components Tuesday (9/1) -- Factors and figures affecting menu decisions Wednesday (9/2) -- Office hours: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm (link is in Schoology) Thursday (9/3) -- Serving sizes / meal portions / RDA Friday (9/4) -- Food demonstration and discussion (vegetables)
